Questions about a guide, a correction to file, or a story we should be covering: this page reaches the editorial desk.
Ways to reach Buddymagazine.org
Email is the route that always works. Write to hello@buddymagazineorg.com and your message reaches the inbox we read and answer from. The form further down this page is not connected yet, so for now email is the way to reach us.
A specific subject line saves everyone time. "Fiber guide, third section" tells us where to look; "question" does not. If your note is about a particular page on Buddymagazine.org, paste the link as the first line — that one habit usually saves a round of back-and-forth.
What we can help with
Three lines make almost any message answerable: the page URL, the sentence or number you are asking about, and what you expected to find instead. Without them we are guessing at which of our six guides you mean, and the first reply you get is a question rather than an answer.
- Corrections. Paste the URL and the exact sentence, say what you believe the right figure or claim is, and add a source if you have one. A link to the study or the agency page beats a description of it.
- Topic suggestions. Tell us what you tried to look up, where you looked, and what the answers left unresolved. Suggestions like these help decide what we write next for our nutrition guides.
- Feedback. Name the guide and the section. "The fiber guide never says how much to add per week" is something we can act on; "it was helpful" is nice to read but changes nothing.
- Media and partnership questions. Include your outlet, the angle, and your deadline. Interview requests, quote requests and proposals all reach the same desk.
- Permission to quote. Tell us which passage, where it will appear, and whether the end product is free or paid. Classroom, newsletter and research reuse go to the same inbox.
Quoting and republishing our work
A short quote with a credit and a link back to the original page is welcome, no permission needed. Republishing a full guide, translating one, or using our material inside a paid product needs written permission first, so send the details and we will answer plainly.
What we cannot do
In practice that rules out diet plans, meal-plan reviews, readings of lab results or food diaries, and any opinion on whether a specific supplement, medication or eating pattern suits your body. We do not know your history, and guessing at it from an email would be careless. Our medical disclaimer sets out those limits in full.
For advice built around your own situation, see a physician or a registered dietitian. The Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics runs a searchable directory of credentialed practitioners at eatright.org, and the current 2025-2030 Dietary Guidelines for Americans are free public-health guidance you can read while you wait for an appointment. If symptoms feel urgent, call a clinician or your local emergency number rather than write to a magazine.
We also cannot act on a complaint about a specific product or a company's labeling. In the United States, safety and labeling problems with most foods can be reported to the Food and Drug Administration, while meat, poultry and egg products fall under the U.S. Department of Agriculture's Food Safety and Inspection Service. Both agencies have enforcement powers a magazine does not.
How we handle corrections
Corrections jump the queue. We check the claim against the original study or guidance document rather than against our memory of it, which means rereading the source itself rather than our summary of it.
If we got it wrong, the page is fixed and the change is noted with its date. If the wording was merely unclear, we rewrite it. If the original stands, you get a reply explaining why with the source attached. Our editorial policy describes the review cycle and how often guides are revisited.
When you will hear back
We aim to answer email sent to hello@buddymagazineorg.com within five business days. Corrections usually move faster; partnership proposals and long technical questions can take the full window. If a week passes with no answer, send the message again — it was lost, not ignored.
The one thing we cannot help with is personal medical advice, for the reason above. Everything else gets a human answer.
Send us a message
Pick the closest subject so we can see at a glance what your note is about, and put the page link in the message if you are writing about a specific guide. Until the form is connected, pressing send only shows a note on screen asking you to email us, and nothing is sent. We use what you send only to answer you; our privacy policy explains how contact details are handled.
Prefer your own mail app, or the form gave you a message instead of a confirmation? Write to hello@buddymagazineorg.com and we will pick it up there.
Legal notices and publisher details
Buddy Magazine publishes Buddymagazine.org. Legal notices and formal requests can be sent to hello@buddymagazineorg.com; our terms and conditions explain which notices have to be in writing.
If you are new here, the about page covers who we write for and the principles behind the guides, which often answers a question faster than we can.
